Boise Hare Krishna Temple, Idaho

These beautiful images are from Boise Hare Krishna Temple and Vedic Cultural Center ,situated in Boise State University, Boise, Idaho of United States. Initially this temple was built in 1986 in one of the member’s home. The Boise Hare Krishna Temple was the first Lord Krishna Temple in the town as there was no Krishna temple in town before.

A new temple was established between two brick duplexes in 1999. The Beautifully designed brick exterior of the temple merges in with the duplexes and the neighborhood. The temple was designed by Boise architect Bruce Poe. The golden Dome, very beautifully painted ceiling and crafted glass window are main attraction of this temple which are well designed and crafted by local artists.

There is one hand carved teakwood stage located in center of the temple which is believed to be abode of the supreme temple Deities, Sri Radha-Bankebihari. This Wooden stage was brought from Jaipur, India. Other than the deity of Sri Radha-Bankebihari, the temple has the beautiful deities of Sri Jagannath Baladev Subhadra and Sri Gaur Nitai. In south side of the temple is a painted glass window created by Meridian artist Michael Booth which highlights the "Ten Incarnations."
