Lord Krishna in Vishwaroop

This image depicts one of the incident from Mahabharata war. In Mahabharata war Arjun-the Pandava moved back after arving in the battlefield and seeing that the enemies are his family only. He said that his heart does not allow him to fight and prefer to renouce the Kingdom.

To make Arjuna undestand and to show him correct path Lord Krishna assumes his Vishwaroop form or Viraat Roop form. The conversation between them soon extended into a discourse which later compiled as the Bhagavad Gita.
